Founded by an independent aspiring filmmaker, Mahadi Shawon aims to make a mark in the film industry.
With a commitment to artistic integrity, we produce films that inspire and engage audiences worldwide.
Our journey is fueled by a passion for storytelling and a belief in the transformative power of cinema. Mahadi Shawon is a passionate filmmaker and storyteller, born and raised in a small-town city (Magura) in Bangladesh. Despite facing significant socio-economic and political challenges in a region where film development is a constant struggle, Mahadi nurtured a deep love for cinema from an early age. This passion led them to Los Angeles City College (LACC), where they excelled in film studies and gained hands-on experience in various aspects of production, including directing, cinematography, and editing. With an unwavering commitment to their craft, Mahadi has continually pushed the boundaries of storytelling, focusing on narratives that resonate emotionally and intellectually. Their work often sheds light on critical social issues, promotes diversity and inclusion, and amplifies the voices of marginalized communities. However, financial obstacles have posed challenges in fully realizing their cinematic visions. The costs of equipment, post-production, and film festival submissions have been significant hurdles. A scholarship would be a crucial support, enabling Mahadi to invest in the tools and resources necessary to bring their unique stories to life. Mahadi Shawon envisions a future where they are recognized as an influential filmmaker on the global stage, representing Bangladesh in the world of cinema. They aspire to create a series of films that not only captivate audiences but also inspire positive change. Their ultimate dream is to one day see their work honored at the Oscars, a testament to their dedication and passion. What sets Mah apart is their relentless dedication to storytelling with purpose-a commitment shaped by personal challenges and a profound belief in the power of film to create a more inclusive and empathetic world.
